ADVICE/ELECTRONIC/ TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATIONS (available for current clients only)

  • What is TELE-MEDICINE?!
    • Video chat consultation & visual exam with your pet from anywhere!
  • What are the benefits?
    • Excellent for quick questions & follow ups
    • Save on costs of a visit (if appropriate for the condition)
    • Greater flexibility in scheduling
    • Option to have Dr. Harrison’s:
      • undivided attention
      • high quality advice paired with a visual exam of your pet
      • ongoing guidance in between house call visits
  • What is ELECTRONIC MEDICINE?
    • Phone consults, email consultations, or texted questions
    • May include professional services such as:
      • researching answers to questions
      • review of medical records from other hospitals
      • providing second opinions
      • consulting with specialists on behalf of your pet, if needed





Each Initial Consultation includes up to 3 follow up text or email responses from Dr. Eve within 1 month of the house call. Follow up house calls include 1 communication between appointments if needed. If you feel you & your pet will benefit from additional or remote support, telemedicine is for you!

Examples of questions Dr. Harrison can address using telemedicine and/or electronic medicine:

  • You read about a new treatment or supplement and you want to know the doctor’s opinion.
  • Your pet is having an issue and you would like to know if there is a treatment you could try at home,  if you need to see a veterinarian right away.
  • Second opinions — Dr. Harrison can help you decide what to do next
  • Your pet has a condition that occasionally flairs up and you want want to contact the vet and receive guidance in between visits.

TELEMEDICINE CONSULTS & PACKAGES may be for you if:

  • Your pet is sick and you feel you would benefit from ongoing support and communication with a veterinarian.
  • You would like to have priority direct access to a veterinarian just in case (for non-emergency issues)
  • You already have a valid “vet-patient-client-relationship” having worked with Dr. Harrison in the past and would like to continue to do so, but you no longer live in Los Angeles.

*These services are meant to be mutually beneficial for both parties; Dr. Harrison can provide you with the sustainable compassionate support and communication that you and your pet need, while also being compensated for extra time spent helping you with your pet’s care.

*Telemedicine services are meant to be educational and informative. These are in no way a substitute for a veterinary visit. Dr. Harrison can provide general information using telemedicine, but can not diagnose or prescribe medications without having performed an in-person examination for your pet within 12 months.
