Dr. Eve Harrison is a gentle and conservative veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in the field. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with honors, and then completed a one year internship in medicine, emergency, and surgery in San Diego.

Following her veterinary training, Dr. Eve did several years of surgical residency training in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a published author in the New Zealand Journal of Veterinary Medicine, and additionally completed clinical rotations at the University of California Davis as well as the University of North Carolina and the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Surgical training has given Dr. Eve skill beyond that of a general vet in terms of pain management, particularly in relation to arthritis, orthopedic, oncological, and neurological conditions.

In 2017, Dr. Harrison became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she also studied Tui Na massage, herbal medicine, nutrition, and, in general, reconnected with how to understand and love her patients on a deeper level.

Dr. Eve has experience working in general practice, surgical practice, emergency and specialty hospitals, pet rehabilitation & swim centers, wildlife centers, and shelters.

Although she has practiced, lectured, and published internationally as a veterinarian, Dr. Eve discovered her calling working with animals and their caregivers in their homes.

Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Eve is trained as a yoga/meditation teacher, and also plays the flute, piccolo, and whistle professionally.

“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”
